Edward Heath and Peter Walker’s visit

Visit of Prime Minister Edward Heath and Worcester MP Peter Walker looking at the Doughty birds with Henry Sandon. The Prime Minister, a fine musician, was conducting at the Three Choirs Festival, a choral work in which my sons David and Peter and I were singing. I had previously visited Mr Heath at 10 Downing Street to advise him on some Chamberlain porcelain he had bought.
