Wedding of Mr and Mrs Hallett, photograph shown in the exhibition of wedding photographs. Dorothy Hallett, Myrtle Gill and Joyce Holloway worked at Royal Worcester during WW2 and they were known collectively as the Welwyn Ladies. The ‘Welwyn’ was a factory within the Royal Worcester Factory and that produced industrial items (such as ceramic tubes to be used as resistors and in radar equipment) as part of the war effort. They were married at St. Stephen’s Church, Worcester.
