Harry Stinton, son of John Stinton junior, painted Highland Cattle subjects like his father. At first he only painted small pieces as he was controlled by his father but later painted larger pots. Had never been to Scotland in his life, like father, and painted the scenes inspired by postcards, Not having seen Highland Cattle, father and son hid the feet in water or heather, as in the postcards, not knowing what the feet were like!
