Educational Visits

Visits can be tailored to the national curriculum and will help bring collection themes to life, such as art and design, social history, local heritage and the people behind the porcelain.

Visit the Museum on one of our fun and interactive educational visits to discover the history of design and manufacturing in Britain.

All our trips can be tailored to meet the curriculum and will help bring the unique story of the porcelain factory to life. Young minds will be inspired with our colourful and interactive exhibitions and workshops specially designed for children.

School trips help bring childrens’ learning to life and what better way to understand the creative genius of the porcelain than to see it up close and in person.

EXPLORER BACKPACKS

Children will love our Explorer Backpacks, themed as Royal Kings and Queens or adventurous Safari Explorer. Complete with a special trail to lead you on an adventure around the Museum, giant magnifying glasses to help you examine up close and colouring tools to complete fact sheets.

We work with local artists such as Jamila Walker who has developed creative engagement activities as part of our Pop-up Museum, which we can take out to schools or host visits at the Museum.
