Gorgeous botanical design from a watercolour by Richard Sebright (1868-1951) held in the Museum of Royal Worcester archive of factory artist sketches and drawings.
Richard Sebright was a local boy apprenticed at Worcester Royal Porcelain Co. in 1882 aged 14. He worked there as an artist for over 60 years and was considered by his fellow painters the finest living painter of the factory’s famous Painted Fruit style.
