What could be more fun than an edible plate made of chocolate? Getting to decorate the plate made of chocolate before you eat it!
During this fun and creative workshop world renowned chocolate artist Prudence Staite will teach you the techniques required to paint a chocolate plate. Prudence will explain how to use the cocoa butter, colours and brushes to create your very own chocolate masterpiece. You might take inspiration from the museum collections which you are free to explore, or you can let your imagination run free.
At the end of the workshop you can take your plate away and wow your friends with new table centrepiece or just eat it!
Workshops last 90 minutes and all equipment is provided. You will be working a chocolate plate that has been handmade for you, in advance of the workshop.

Prudence will be on hand throughout the session to answer your chocolate art and design questions and ensure you have a very unique experience.
Workshops times 10-11.30am, 12.00-1.30pm & 2.00-3.30pm
Cost £35 per person. Limited to 16 people for each workshop with Prudence
This workshops is suitable for 14 years+. 14-17 year olds must be accompanied by a paying adult.
Allergens and safety
If you have food allergies or food intolerances this workshop will not be suitable.
The food and decoration items may contain any of the 14 main allergens:
Milk, soya, barley, wheat, nuts, peanuts, sesame, sulphates, fish, mustard, Molluscs, eggs, lupins, celery.
On the day you will be mixing cocoa butter with food colourants containing e-numbers (Including E171) and azo dyes.
