Discovering clay Workshops
ONLY ONE PLACE NOW AVAILABLE!
Find your inner potter in our 10-week course of Discovering Clay workshops.
Learn clay techniques with local potter and artist Kay Mullett in the inspiring surroundings of the Museum’s ceramic studio. You’ll get hands-on experience and instruction in a range of traditional and experimental pottery techniques including throwing, slab building, coiling, slip casting, modelling and decoration.
This course is suitable for all abilities and as a refresher.
If you’ve ever fancied a go at the wheel, clay modelling or decoration then this is the course for you.
Wednesday evenings, 7pm – 9pm from 15 January to 26 March 2025.
Please note: there will be no class on Wednesday 19th February.
All materials are included, plus tea and coffee on Royal Worcester during the session – so all you have to do is turn up. Please wear covered shoes and old clothes or an apron that you don’t mind getting clay on.
The 10 week course costs £250. The course is very popular and sells out, so book early to avoid disappointment. Also makes a perfect creative gift.
