Bring your mini Kings and Queens to The Museum of Royal Worcester for our Royal Themed Paint-Your-Own-Pottery activities and Kings and Queen’s Explorer trails around the Museum.
At our Royal Themed Paint-Your-Own-Pottery sessions you can choose from mugs, bowls, plates, Crown pots and plaques and even a crown themed egg cup to make sure breakfast is fit for a king or queen. We’ve also got bird boxes, beautiful animal shaped trinket holders and of course water bowls for the four legged friend in your life.
You’ll be surrounded by inspiration in our Ceramic Studio, plus our friendly staff are on hand to help. Book at table for you or a group of up to six people, then relax as you’ll have an hour and half to try out your artistic skills.
If you have time, you can also explore the Museum before or after your Paint-Your-Own-Pottery session. Discover our collections, plus we have plenty of fun activities for children including our themed Family Explorer backpacks and trails.

How does it work?
You and your group will browse our range of ceramic items and make a selection. Our prices range from £9 upwards.
You’ll be seated at your own table, with a range of colours and tools to use, with staff on hand to offer inspiration and assistance if required.
Once you’ve finished painting, you will leave the items in our capable hands. We will glaze it and fire it in our kiln. Colours will become richer, and your item will have a hard shiny clear surface – which is food-safe should you wish to use it once you take it home.
We need 7 – 10 days to glaze and fire (if this is for a gift please ensure you leave plenty of time), and will then contact you to let you know your item is ready for collection. We can post your item back to you for an additional cost – speak to a member of staff if this is required.
